This page is the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for the KidsColorLab iOS app specifically. It governs the app, not the meremai.com website. For the MeremAI company website's own terms, see meremai.com/terms and meremai.com/privacy.

1. The app

KidsColorLab is a native iOS creative app made by MeremAI ("we," "us," "our"). It gives kids a library of pre-generated, original line-art coloring pages, blank pages for free drawing, a virtual dough table, shape and snowflake makers, a music maker, learning games, and guided letter and number tracing, all in one app. By downloading or using KidsColorLab, you (the parent, guardian, or adult account holder) agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any child who uses the app under your supervision.

2. How the app works

All content and activities are created ahead of time and shipped inside the app itself. The app itself never calls any external content service and never asks you or your child for a prompt, a photo, or any input beyond tapping, drawing, or playing. KidsColorLab makes no network calls of any kind and runs entirely on-device.

3. Accounts and data collection

KidsColorLab does not collect personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, no email address, and no account of any kind. The app:

Makes no network calls at all;
Sends no device identifiers, advertising IDs, or analytics events to us or anyone else;
Contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs;
Stores your child's progress and creations (coloring, drawings, and anything else made in the app, saved to "My Creations") locally on the device only, using Apple's on-device storage. We never receive or see this data.

Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or retain, and nothing to delete on request, since it never leaves the device. If you delete the app, this local data is deleted with it.

4. Children's privacy & COPPA

KidsColorLab is designed for children and listed in the App Store's Kids category. It is built from the ground up to collect no personal information from children, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws elsewhere. A parental gate (a simple math challenge) stands between a child and the purchase screen, purchase restoration, and this policy, so a young child can't accidentally buy anything or leave the app's kid-safe area.

5. Purchases

KidsColorLab is free to try for 7 days from first launch, with full access to every activity in the app: coloring, drawing, dough, shapes, snowflakes, music, games, and letter tracing. After the trial, unlocking the app permanently requires a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase of $9.99. This is not a subscription: it's a single purchase with nothing to renew or cancel.

All payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or process your payment details.
Because it's a one-time purchase, there is no recurring billing and nothing to cancel.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by MeremAI directly.
Use the in-app "Restore Purchases" option if you reinstall the app or switch devices; your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, not to the device.

6. Intellectual property

The coloring pages, activities, app design, and KidsColorLab name are owned by MeremAI and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the app only. Any drawings, coloring, or other creations your child makes in the app stay on your device. We don't collect, host, or claim ownership of them.

7. Age-appropriate content

All content and activities in KidsColorLab are designed for young children (ages 4+) and reviewed to keep them simple, friendly, and free of anything frightening, violent, or age-inappropriate. If you spot content that doesn't meet that bar, please let us know using the contact link below so we can remove it.

8. No warranty; limitation of liability

KidsColorLab is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeremAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to unlock the app (or $10 if you're still on the free trial).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Privacy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and, where required, surfaced in the app itself.
