Privacy Policy

1. What this Site collects
meremai.com is a simple marketing website. It does not require an account. The personal information we collect through the Site is what you choose to give us, plus limited analytics data if you consent to it (see Section 2):

We also automatically receive standard web request information common to any website, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, collected by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) for security and abuse-prevention purposes (e.g., rate-limiting spam submissions). We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
2. Cookies & analytics
The Site uses a cookie consent banner to let you control which optional cookies we set. We use two categories:

Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies until you accept the "Analytics" category in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the preferences icon in the corner of the Site. Data sent to Google Analytics is subject to Google's Privacy Policy; you can also opt out of Google Analytics site-wide using Google's browser add-on.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to messages sent through the contact form;
- To detect and prevent spam or abusive submissions;
- To keep a record of correspondence for our own reference;
- If you've consented to Analytics cookies, to understand aggregate visitor behavior (e.g., popular pages, traffic sources) and improve the Site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing without your separate, explicit consent.
4. How we share your information
We do not share the information you submit with third parties except:
- Service providers who process it on our behalf solely to operate the Site, currently Resend (to deliver contact-form emails to us), Cloudflare (to host the Site and serve requests), and, only if you've consented to Analytics cookies, Google Analytics (to measure site usage);
- If required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or valid governmental request; or
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of MeremAI, our users, or the public.
5. Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our correspondence, after which we delete or archive them. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).
6. Children's privacy
The meremai.com website itself is a corporate/marketing site directed at adults and is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. Some of our products, including KidsStoryClub and KidsColorLab, are designed for use by or with children, and each has its own privacy policy addressing how it handles children's information, consistent with applicable law (including COPPA in the United States). Please refer to that product's policy for details.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls on our hosting and email infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights regarding information submitted through this Site, reach us through our contact form and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
9. International visitors
This Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
